SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of trapping animals. A trap for capture animals that live in ground contains a pipe, a witness mark, a rod, two second springs, a retainer, two levers, two valves and two first springs. A witness mark is installed in the pipe in an unstable state. The rod contacts with the witness mark in the unstable state. The rod is adapted to hold the second spring in a compressed state. The rod is in contact with the retainer with the witness mark being in an unstable state. The retainer holds the ends of two levers in with the witness mark being in an unstable state. Other ends of the levers are connected to the valves. The valves are installed on opposite sides of the witness mark. The valves cover the pipe at outlet of the witness mark from the unstable state and release of the corresponding ends of the levers.

EFFECT: increased reliability of the device is provided.
