FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: trap comprises casing 1 with upper net wall 2. End opening 3 is closed by flap 4 covered with tensioned net. Bait is hung on hook 22 through opening 3, which is then closed with flap 4 and lock 5. Frame 16 is turned to upper position and cocked by trigger 19 fitted at the end of release loop 20. Pin is inserted into lug 18, then latch 8 is lifted and pin 12 is inserted into hole 9. As a rodent pulls at the bait, latch 8 shuts the trap by gravity. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 1 dwg
