SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to andrology and is intended for optimisation of treatment of erectile dysfunction. Method includes ultrasonic Dopplerographic testing of rate of blood flow in penis, prostate gland and testicles with preparations of phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors. Indices of blood flow rates are evaluated before and 1 hour after introduction of average therapeutic dose of preparation. Testing of preparations is carried out with 4-7 day interval. Selected is preparation after introduction of which the largest increase of average total index of maximal blood flow in penis, prostate gland and testicles is observed.

EFFECT: method ensures adequacy of preparation selection for improvement of treatment result due to taking into account increase of blood flow in all organs of genital system and, therefore, larger accuracy and individuality of selection of preparation for treatment of erectile dysfunction.
