SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a seismic wave generator having a power supply, a loading board and a radiating body with a magnetic system. The generator has one or more electromagnets having a magnetic conductor of an armature separated by a gap from the magnetic conductor of an inductor with an exciting coil mounted on a radiating board. The magnetic conductor of the armature is rigidly connected to the top part of the housing of the radiating body, and the magnetic conductor of the inductor is mounted with possibility of vertical displacement on pins on the housing between at least two pairs of damper spacer springs. The generator also has a platform and pontoons, wherein hydraulic shock absorbers of the radiating board are mounted on the platform, resting on two pontoons between which the radiating board is mounted on the third pontoon.

EFFECT: high radiation power level of the useful signal and accuracy of setting the wavefront time of the radiation pulse.
