FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: pulsed electromagnetic seismic wave generator, having a base - a radiator on which rigid supports are mounted, a tightening weight placed on the base between the supports, an electromagnetic motor with a power supply consisting of an armature and an inductor with an exciting coil; the magnetic conductor of the inductor is rigidly attached to the tightening weight; the magnetic conductor of the armature is placed over the magnetic conductor of the inductor and is separated from it by a gap δ1; the housing of the armature has cantilevers separated from the supports by gaps δ2, which accommodate elastic elements adapted to be compressed by the armature when the gap δ1 is selected; there is a damper between the base and the tightening weight; the armature rests on the support through spring-loaded rods with possibility of deforming the springs when the gap δ2 is selected.
EFFECT: broader capabilities of using a seismic vibrator and improved technical characteristics thereof through efficient operation of the seismic vibrator on grounds of different hardness, high efficiency of converting mechanical energy of its electromagnetic motor to energy applied to the ground and possibility of varying the spectrum of the emitted waves.
