SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a children's construction kits. The connecting means comprises a strip-shaped part with a thickened portion located at least on a certain part of the total length of the strip-shaped part. On the back side of the connecting means a connecting part is placed, equipped with part of the detachable connecting mechanism, and the strip-shaped part is adapted to insert into the groove of the first structural element, and the connecting part is made with the possibility of attaching to the second structural element with the connecting mechanism. The connecting mechanism includes elements, mostly complementary to each other elements, which form the insertion joint. The connecting mechanism includes a screw, a twist, a connecting pin or a latch. A set of blocks additionally comprises at least one block of a constructor, which includes at least one groove, complementary to the strip-shaped part, made with the ability to insert a strip-shaped part of the connecting means into the groove in the longitudinal direction. The set of the constructor blocks, including a toy, may include at least one complementary part of the detachable connecting mechanism, and the constructor block and the connecting means are adapted to connect with the connecting mechanism.

EFFECT: new means of connecting building elements in children's construction kits are proposed.
