FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises feeding hollow revolving cylindrical case with cutting head. Said revolution is complemented by turn of sampler about hollow case lengthwise axis. Sampler turn with penetration into bark is executed by fingers through angle exceeding that of, at least, three top crests of cutting part teeth. Sampler comprises hollow cylindrical case with cutting head. Cutting head front surface has teeth and recesses there between. Handle is arranged on sampler side opposite that of cutting head, on hollow case end. Said handle represents grooved wheel handy for user. Cutting head inner diameter is scaled to sample bark in diameters of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 mm.
EFFECT: higher quality of sampling, simplified sampler design.
