FIELD: certification of wood of growing trees with the use of screw and screwless cutting parts of the borer. SUBSTANCE: the borer is provided with a feed mechanism. The feed mechanism is made in the form of an additional hollow body with a female thread and a lead screw with a male screw installed on a handle for installation inside the additional body. A hole with recesses and an eye with the mechanism of borer attachment to a tree are made on the body end on the side of the borer. On the opposite side of the cutting head the body has a catch, and the lead screw - a recess for installation of the catch. EFFECT: reduced destruction of the core in its rind portion and reduced forces acting on the wood on the side of the cutting member of the borer head at an extraction of a core, more than 5 mm in diameter. 6 cl, 7 dwg
