FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: electrolyser terminal clamp with baked anodes attached to anode bar includes heavy-loaded bracket with screw, support bracket, pressure lever with nose, spring-loaded pad. The pad is located between the brackets. There is a projection cut at the end on the pressure lever on the opposite side of nose attachment that serves for lever fixing in open position. Spring-loaded pad is installed on the pressure lever in position, in which the relation of distance from axis to axes of heavy-loaded and pressure brackets amounts 1.405-1.505. There is an isolating support area on spring-loaded pad for contact with anode bar. The area of support area amounts 196-210 cm2.

EFFECT: improvement of reliability of anode rod fastening by increasing the force applied to the lever, and increase of reliability of its operation during manufacturing processes.
