FIELD: winning of aluminum by electrolysis from cryolite-alumina melts. SUBSTANCE: contact terminal includes power bracket with screw, thrust bracket, pressing lever with lip and spring-loaded block located between brackets. Block and pressing level are made of antimagnetic material. Block is put on lever in position in which relation of distance from its axis to axes of power and thrust brackets amounts to 1.2-1.4 and relation of sum of these distances to distance from axis of block to axis of thrust bracket amounts to 2.2-2.4. Lip is produced elongated and value of elongation from axis of thrust bracket to end of lever is not less than difference of distances between axis of block and axes of brackets with value of their relations amounting to 1.4.
