SUBSTANCE: accompanying electronic service guide (ESG) information can be transmitted along with audio/video data for synchronous reception of ESG information and service data if the terminal device accesses one time slot. Said technical result is achieved due to that the disclosed method of transmitting mobile multimedia broadcast ESG messages involves: a multiplexer receiving the ESG; the multiplexer multiplexing the ESG into a multiplexing frame, the multiplexing payload of the multiplexing frame including one or more multiplexing sub-frames; the multiplexer sends the multiplexing frame to a broadcast station; the broadcast station modulates and sends said multiplexing frame to terminal devices of mobile communication users.
EFFECT: flexible transmission of ESG messages by a mobile multimedia broadcast system, transmission of a large volume of ESG information.
