FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to pipe joint for vacuum pipeline of central dust removal system. Invention relates also to method of making pipe sockets. Pipe socket has, at least, first and second hole confined by case circular wall with inner and outer surface. Note here that, at least, first hole receives pipe fitted therein to allow pipe joint to shut off the pipe by socket inner surface section on attachment section. The latter comprises seal ring element arranged therein to make efficient packing between pipe socket inner surface and pipe outer surface. Attachment section additionally includes circular recess that makes thrust surface. Said circular recess serves to create smooth transition between pipe and pipe joint to decrease noise effects. Pipe joint comprises, at least, one through hole in pipe joint case wall to extend from case wall outer surface to its inner surface. Note here that said hole extend outward into attachment section.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of pipe joint.
