SUBSTANCE: in a street lamp based on light-emitting diodes (LED) LED are used as a source of light. The LED-based street lamp comprises a body arranged on the front end of the lamp support, a panel located inside the body, with multiple LED spaced from each other, and also heat removal devices tightly adjacent to the panel and scattering heat produced when light is emitted by LED, besides, multiple LED differ from each other by different levels of brightness, levels of brightness gradually increase from the panel centre to the panel edges, and scattering elements that scatter light produced by multiple LED are located on panel areas complying with areas located near each of many LED.
EFFECT: possibility to minimise deviation of brightness in different zones of an illuminated area with simultaneous increase in brightness of a whole illuminated area.
