FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a footrest when performing work in a standing position, and can be used for the machinists. Footrest comprises a base and a stand. The base includes a frame at the corners of which the racks with rails, a driving shaft is fastened, at the ends of which the cylindrical and conical pinion gears and two driven shafts are fastened, on which on the one side a cylindrical gear is fixed, on the other - a conical gear. The cylindrical gears of two drive shafts and a driven shaft are engaged with the racks rails. The driven shafts are located perpendicular with respect to the drive shaft and connected with conical gearing, and at the side of the base a star wheel is mounted on the drive shaft, and the target located in the interaction with it mounted on the handle, fixed by stopper.
EFFECT: achieving optimal spatial relationship between elements of the workplace and anthropometric data of a person working in a standing position, with the ability to reconfigure quickly the footrest under the required anthropometric size of the worker.
