FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in automotive brakes. Braking system comprises piston separating first pressure chamber from second pressure chamber in cylinder bore. Valve displaces inside piston bore between three positions. In first position, first and second pressure chambers are communicated to low-pressure fluid feeder. In second position, second pressure chamber is isolated from first pressure chamber and low-pressure fluid feeder. In third position, high-pressure fluid feeder communicates with second pressure chamber to allow fluid to flow into second pressure chamber. High pressure in second pressure chamber drives booster piston to apply higher braking pressure to vehicle brake. Second chamber pressure at valve surface shifts the valve toward first position. Accumulator accumulates fluid for feeding high-pressure fluid to increase braking force in operation of hybrid vehicle with ICE shutdown. Method of increasing braking pressure consists in shutting off the channel between booster piston high- and low-pressure sides with brake pedal shifted in first direction. With said pedal displacing beyond threshold position in said first direction, opened is the channel for fluid to flow from high-pressure source toward booster piston high-pressure side. Thereafter, said channel is shut off with brake pedal not displaced in first direction.
EFFECT: efficient operation of boosted brake.
