FIELD: mechanical engineering; brake systems.
SUBSTANCE: brake system pneumatic booster is furnished with device building resistance to pneumatic piston displacing at high speed in process of braking, as displacement of piston without such resistance might cause undesirable repeated opening of channel connecting front and rear chambers of pneumatic booster. According to invention, counteracting plate is used in pneumatic booster which creates additionally resistance preventing too quick displacement of piston forwards. Said counteracting plate is arranged in socket whose inner volume exceeds volume of plate. At deformation of plate at first stage of braking, plate completely fills socket, and at further braking it operates as standard plate creating counteraction. Fastening of counteracting plate to plunger of distributing valve or to other part of pneumatic booster connected with control rod whose travel is accompanied by operation of valves of distributing valve set, limits at braking speed of pneumatic piston moving forwards and precludes or materially reduces possibility of repeated opening of channel connecting front and rear chambers of pneumatic booster.
EFFECT: reduced to minimum braking noise, improved efficiency of operation of pneumatic booster.
