FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: bitumen emulsion, which is characterised by improved high stability during storage, contains: bitumen, water, one or more systems of emulsifiers and a block copolymer composition containing a two-block copolymer, which contains one block from a monovinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and one block from a conjugated diene and characterised by peak molecular weight in the range from 30000 to 78000 and vinyl content in the range from 35 to 80 mol % based on the amount of repeating monomer links in the block from conjugated diene, and optionally a block copolymer containing at least two blocks from monovinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and at least one block from conjugated diene, wherein the block copolymer is selected from linear three-block copolymers, having peak molecular weight which is higher than that of the two-block copolymer by a multiple of 1.5-3.0, multi-beam block copolymers obtained from a coupling reaction, having peak molecular weight higher than that of the two-block copolymer by a multiple of 1.5-9.0, and mixtures thereof, each of the block copolymers is characterised by vinyl content in the range from 35 to 80 mol % based on the amount of repeating monomer links in the block from conjugated diene, where the ratio of (i) to (ii) in the block copolymer composition is greater than 1:1.
