FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: detector for monitoring droplet entrainment has a probe placed in the stream of the monitored gas, a micro-hydrocyclone for generating centrifugal gas flow, connected by an inlet pipe to the probe and by an outlet pipe to a unit for metering the monitored gas, an ultrasonic level gauge for determining the thickness of layers of each of the immiscible liquids. The ultrasonic level gauge consists of an ultrasonic generator, an ultrasonic vibration radiator and receiver, an electronic unit for the ultrasonic level gauge, and a measurement chamber located in the bottom part of the micro-hydrocyclone. The ultrasonic vibration radiator and receiver are mounted in the measurement chamber, and the electronic unit of the ultrasonic level gauge is connected to a remote automatic unit for calculation and remote display of the weight and percentage content of liquids carried by the stream of the monitored gas.
EFFECT: ensuring rapid remote control of entrainment volume, weight of immiscible liquids and percentage content thereof without stopping the drying process.
