FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: cleaning and deactivation method of reactor plant equipment with liquid-metal lead-bismuth heat carrier using the vapour containing chemical reagent at the specified temperature. Cleaning and deactivation process of equipment is performed at atmospheric pressure with ammonium acetate vapours above ammonium acetate melt layer at temperature of 135 to 145°C.
EFFECT: invention allows simplifying the technology and improving cleaning and deactivation efficiency of equipment surfaces, reducing the volume of formed solid and liquid radioactive wastes, improving radiation safety in process zone of deactivation and repair works, reducing the radiation exposures on personnel participating in equipment deactivation and repair.
