FIELD: heating, heat exchange.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to nuclear power engineering, particularly to methods of deactivation, and can be utilised for deactivation of interior surfaces of equipment of the first circuit of nuclear power assemblies, for example, with a water heat carrier. According to the method, treatment of the equipment interior surfaces of the first circuit of the nuclear power assembly is carried out with chemical reagents, then specific activity of reference radionuclide (RN) is measured in three successively selected samples of a deactivating solution (DS), and by a formula a value k is calculated, the said value depends on the values of three successively performed measurements of the specific activity of RN and a rn value. Then the values of k and α are compared, the value of α is calculated for three successive measurements by a formula, allowing a relative error of the specific activity measurement of RN in DS (in relative units). Upon achieving the condition, when k≤α, the further circulation of DS and measurement of k value is terminated and displacement of DS from the circuit is commenced.

EFFECT: reduction of deactivation process time, the utmost removal of "cluttered" corrosion sediments, achieving minimal solution of a "dense" oxide film and of structural materials.
