SUBSTANCE: damaged cover of a launch tube is arranged in the form of a spherical segment with a support ring. The spherical segment is arranged with the possibility of damage under the specified value of excessive pressure in an undercover volume at the working position of the cover on a launch sleeve into fragments of desired shape, a part of which is equipped with elements giving positive buoyancy to appropriate fragments.
EFFECT: higher safety against mechanical impact of fragments formed in process of cover damage during missile launching.
