SUBSTANCE: method to feed cartridges to a packaging box includes alignment of cartridges with the help of an alignment mechanism, feed of aligned cartridges into grooves of a feed mechanism actuator and feed of a formed cartridge group into a package. The formed cartridge group is fed into seats of the packaging box in cycles, every of which is arranged with the help of reciprocal displacement of a rack actuator with grooves for cartridges, first by axial displacement with serial loading of aligned cartridges from a feeder into its grooves, and then by rotation of the actuator towards a screen that aligns and guides cartridges relative to the longitudinal axis by the angle of 60-95° and transfer of aligned cartridges to seats of one row of the packaging box with subsequent axial return and reverse rotation of the actuator into the initial position and stepped displacement of the packaging box. Stepped displacement of the packaging box and feed of cartridges during each cycle are carried out with the help of a kinematic link of a drive via a ratchet mechanism with a mechanism of stepped feed of boxes, and via cams and a system of levers - with a rack actuator.
