FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of sorbents using natural glauconite. Proposed method comprises preheating and sieving glauconite sand, magnetic separation to obtain magnetic fraction bearing, at least, 95% of glauconite, milling said magnetic fraction, mixing milled magnetic fraction with water and pelletising obtained mix. Produced granules are dried, crushed, sieved to obtain required grain size, baked, cooled and packed.
EFFECT: increased sorption capacity.
