SUBSTANCE: composition of cast iron is used for making parts of furnaces and heating units. Cast iron contains, by wt %: carbon 2.8-3.2, silicon 2.0-2.5; manganese 6.0-10.0, aluminium 11.0-13.0, copper 0.5-0.7, wolframium 0.2-0.3, cobalt 0.6-0.8, indium 0.01-0.02, iron - the rest.
EFFECT: increased heat resistance of cast iron.
