FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: manway for access inside manifold pipelines comprises a body with a neck, a rotary cover installed inside with a hemispherical shape, sealing elements installed on the inner side of a body neck, a device for pressing of the cover to sealing elements. The body is arranged from two parts tightly joined to each other. One part is arranged in the form of a flange welded into a pipeline with a protruding cantilever nozzle. The second part has a shape of a hemispherical dome with a neck and two diametrically opposite holes for tight inputs of cantilever shafts of an external rotation drive of a hemispherical cover. The cover is arranged between a body and a cantilever nozzle and is equipped with two parallel traction rods, having longitudinal slots, where guide inserts are placed, installed as capable of rotation on cantilever shafts of the external drive of cover rotation. The device of cover pressing to sealing elements is arranged in the form of single-arm levers rigidly fixed at the ends of cantilever shafts with rollers interacting with surfaces of stops formed on traction rods that are parallel and perpendicular to slots of parallel traction rods. Each traction rod is spring-loaded relative guide inserts and equipped with rollers, contacting as the cover rotates until its axis matches with the axis of the body neck with stops fixed on the body.

EFFECT: manway provides for convenient and safe maintenance of manifold pipelines and reservoirs of high pressure with minimum scope of manual operations, without use of assembly tools, when opening and closing a cover with its preliminary pressing to sealing elements carried out by one movement of a manual external drive.
