BAYONET END LOCK Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC F16J13/20

Abstract RU 2621127 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: lock is designed for locking the lids of vessels, apparatus, end and blind portions of pipelines working under pressure. The lock includes a composite hollow body consisting of the stationary and the rotating parts connected by a multiple-flight rectangular thread, a cover fixed on a hinged lever and having the ability to be rotated on the bearing unit axis perpendicular to the cover plane, as well as the ability to be hinged together with said lever by means of the bearing unit on the bracket mounted on the housing, a locking device made in the form of bayonet connection. On the cover, projections are made, covered by grooves formed on the rotating part of the body. A toothed sector is fixed on the lock cover, divided by an abutment into two sections interacting with a pinion key mounted in series on fingers disposed on the rotating housing part, providing a preliminary and complete mutual rotation of the cover and the rotating housing part. At the end of the pre-rotation section, the cover has the possibility of axial movement to the height of the ledges formed on the cover projections. The pitch size and the number of threads are selected so that while closing the bayonet connection, when the projection of the rotating housing part completely overlaps the cover projection, the axial movement of the rotating body part takes place, sufficient to compress the seal disposed in the groove on the sealing surface of the stationary root part of the housing and to achieve airtight connection of the fixed root part of the housing and the cover. The bayonet projections of the cover and the rotating housing part have a shape providing the disposition of their contact surfaces in the same plane perpendicular to the rotation axis of the rotating housing part. On the fixed housing part, a locking bar is fixed, on which a safety unit is installed, consisting of a handle with an eccentric, connected by means of a thrust with a stopper, and by means of a shaft connected to the shut-off element of the exhaust cock connected by a branch pipe with a cavity under the lock cover. The stopper has the ability to enter and exit the locking groove on the rotating housing part, on which angular stops are also made to prevent the rotating part of the housing from turning away from its stationary part. On the fixed root part of the housing, internal stops are made to prevent the cover from cranking relative to the fixed root part of the housing.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability and airtightness of the lock.
