FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: valve seal comprises a fluoroplastic ring insert. The insert is deformed when closed between two conical surfaces of a stem and a shell of a sealing unit, crossing between each other, at the side distant from the seat plane. A small section of the circular insert is formed between the stem and the shell, in the area of the surface contacting with the seat, has a cylindrical shape from the outside and inside, surfaces of which and the seat form radial slots. The sealing surface of the seat is arranged as conical with an angle in the base close to 0° and with a circular ledge on the smaller diametre.

EFFECT: stabilisation of a valve stroke and its hydraulic characteristics.
