SUBSTANCE: device comprises a generator with varied AC frequency, to outputs of which a differential circuit is connected with the first and second serial oscillating circuits. Each of circuits comprises serially joined an amperemeter, a capacitor with variable capacitance value and an inductance converter. A switch is connected in parallel to the capacitor of the first oscillating circuit. A semiconductor detector of signals and an electric RC-filter comprising parallel connected a capacitor and a resistor with a potentiometric output are connected to each input of inductance converters. Between potentiometric outputs of resistors there is a voltmeter. The first oscillating circuit has a ratio of reactive resistances of the capacitor and the inductance converter XC=2XL. The second oscillating circuit has a ratio of reactive resistances XL=Xc. Geometrical dimensions of the inductance converter and structural material provide for its alignment and free sliding in a coupling joint of pipes.
EFFECT: possibility to assess mechanical strength of coupling joints of pipes in wells inaccessible for indirect monitoring.
