FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: ceramic waveguide filter in the form of metal-coated rectangular ceramic unit in which through metal-coated holes perform the functions of inductive bar diaphragms is proposed. For adjustment of filter resonators there used in various combinations are blind metal-coated and blind nonmetal-coated holes, as well as blind and through holes which are partially metal-coated. Tuning of filter matching with input and output transmission lines is performed after filter is installed on the circuit board due to variation of length of short-circuited pieces of coplanar lines on end faces of ceramic unit.
EFFECT: enlarging filter tuning capabilities for implementation of wider range of products based on basic ceramic unit; increasing its mechanical strength.
