SUBSTANCE: reaper of combine or harvester comprises a central section with a window of the feeder housing for directing the cut vegetation from the center section to the feeder housing, when the reaper is mounted on the feeder housing. At least one side section of the reaper is attached to the central section through the hinge joint of the frame. Band conveyor consisting of a frame and a band moving around the frame, passes from the side section to the center section and contains a hinge joint of band conveyor. The cutting device comprising a bending part is located on the front side of the header for cutting vegetation. The hinge joint of the frame, the hinge joint of the belt conveyor and the bending part are located on one axis parallel to the direction of movement of the combine or harvester. Side section is adapted to raise and lower relative to the center section by rotation around this axis.

EFFECT: creation of a simple and fast-acting device for converting articulated reaper into rigid and vice versa.
