FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: header of combine or harvester comprises a frame, which longitudinal dimension is transverse to the direction of the combine or harvesting machine motion. Two moving tapes are located on the frame for receiving cut vegetation from the cutting device and moving the vegetation from the outer part of the header to its interior. Each tape has a front edge oriented in the direction of the header or harvester motion, and the rear edge, oriented backwards relative to the direction of motion. Each tape has an inner end, separated from the inner end of another tape to form an opening between them. This opening takes from tapes the vegetation transported longitudinally to the tapes in the inner direction. The header contains a screw placed with the ability to supply the vegetation from the opening into an inclined chamber located behind the opening. The screw has a cylinder on the axis and two end cones. The axis of the screw is located in front of the rear edge of the tape. The fixed platform over the opening is made relief to supply the vegetation into the inclined chamber.

EFFECT: creation of the header with an improved supply trajectory of vegetation into the inclined chamber, which increases the efficiency of supply of vegetation and provides more smooth transition from the traverse feed to the inclined chamber.
