SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of household appliances. Espresso coffee machine contains a boiler and a pump for hot water supply under pressure in one or several cooking groups (1), each of which comprises a container for preparatory infusion of a certain dose of ground coffee, a supply pipe for hot water, and an outlet pipe. The inlet of each cooking group has manual control to selective coupling of the container for powdered coffee with the supply pipe for hot water, with an outlet pipe or with both pipes for preparatory infusion of powdered coffee.
EFFECT: invention enables to set the length of preparatory infusion at the user option.
