FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and modernisation of iron-and-steel and nonferrous-metals industry structures equipped with overhead cranes with heavy duty operation mode. On continuous production line, through coaxial holes in the elements being connected are perforated by pyrotechnic method using manufacturing guns. Contacting surfaces are cleaned by bead-blasting method and unit preliminary assembly and bolting is performed of a pair of box sections and double-headed underrail plate. Free coaxial holes are reamed for designed diameter, alloyed pins are passed through these holes. On continuous production line, they are automatically reliably tightened by nut wrenches and connected in single box unit. On continuous production line, in split between pair of box sections the crane runway beam wall with holes is pushed up to the stop into double-headed underrail plate, holes in the wall and in the pair of box sections are aligned, and wall position is fixed. Free holes are automatically reamed for designed diameter, alloyed pins are passed through coaxial holes, they are reliably tightened by nut wrenches, and the pair of box sections is rigidly connected with wall into single structure. Bottom flange and supporting ribs also of box profiles are attached to the wall. Completed crane runway beam is forwarded to finished products storage area.
EFFECT: elimination of fatigue cracks occurrence possibility in underrail area of crane runway beam.
