FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military and defence industry and can be used as a missile, bomb, mine and grenade with a double striking effect. The device made from a metal hydride for ammunition consists of a housing in form of a sphere which houses a system of cumulative charges with spherical cuts of trinitrotoluene, provided with secondary detonators which interact through detonating cords of equal length with the primary detonator of the fuse lying at the centre of the explosive device. The cuts contain metal vessels with spherical bulging ends facing the charge in the spherical cuts of the charges in which an explosive material made from Be(BH4)2 or another metal hydride is located. The spherical cuts are directed towards the centre of the explosive device. The detonating cords pass through the explosive material.

EFFECT: high efficiency of the charge.
