FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: warhead comprises bulky body rigidly connected with cover to make closed chamber to accommodate explosive. Cover has the bore for fastening of fuse whereon abuts detonating shell of plastic explosive surrounding the main charge. Charge cylindrical shell has damping shell to prevent the detonating wave flow to internal charge. Equal-length detonating tubes are arranged above said shell. These transmit detonating wave to both ends of inner charge cylinder accommodating the core made of metal or alloy hydride. Said charge is shielded from primer side by sandwiched buffer retarder composed of flat plates of various materials while cylindrical surface is shielded by similar layer of buffer retarder. Detonating wave transfer holes are arranged at the centre of cylindrical part, over damping layer cylinder perimeter, to transmit said wave from the shell to detonating tubes. Damper with added plates of nonferrous alloys is arranged between detonating shell and cover. Retarder is arranged to rule out premature collapse of the body and shell from primer explosion.
EFFECT: higher power owing to state approximating to explosion spherical implosion.
