FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method to produce peat briquettes consists in peat pressing under pressure in a forming element. The forming element is a steel matrix of round section, where peat is pressed with moisture of 5-25% under the specific pressure of briquetting of 7.8-46.8 MPa, when exposed to alternating magnetic field.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase mechanical strength of fuel briquettes from peat without additional of binding substances.
