SUBSTANCE: electrically driven swinging column for vehicles for public passenger transportation with drive (20), containing electric driving motor (24) and down reductor (26), where driven element of driving motor is connected with input element of down reductor (26), and out element (32) of down reductor (26) - with input/output devices, where drive (20) is executed as compact drive in which electric driving motor (24) and down reductor (26) are located axially one after another inside tubular housing (22), self-releasing down redactor and additional locking device for locking the drive, where drive (20) is located inside swinging column.
EFFECT: more compact size of drive.
