FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: navigation system has an inertial navigation system (INS) with a gyroplatform (GP), a navigation computer with a correction device, an estimate filter-identifier (EFI), an adjustment computer and a source of signals for correcting the INS. The computer performs conversion of velocities measured by the source of signals for correcting the INS to their projections on the axis of the reference trihedron of the GP. The outputs of the navigation computer are connected to outputs of the source of signals for correcting the INS. The EFI has sixteen storage registers, computing devices for generating in the longitudinal channel of the GP estimates of the same parameters of the INS on eighteen adders, seventeen multipliers, three dividers, three integrators, and generating in the side channel of the GP estimates of other parameters of the INS. The adjustment computer is part of the computing device for calculating trigonometric functions, seven adders, sixteen multipliers, a divider, three threshold devices, three switches, a sawtooth wave generator and three analogue-to-digital converters.
