FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: navigation system has an inertial navigation system (INS) with a gyroplatform (GP), a navigation computer, an estimate filter-identifier (EFI), a special computer and a satellite navigation system (SNS) receiver. The system includes eleven adders, four multipliers. The special computer includes computing devices for calculating variable coefficients of the mathematical model of INS errors. The EFI includes a device for generating data on mismatch of geographic coordinates and linear velocities between the INS and the SNS with eleven converters of the input of the EFI, devices for generating the geographic latitude error estimate, geographic longitude error estimate, heading error estimate, velocity error estimate on the axes of the GP, displacement angle estimate on the axes of the GP and drift estimate on the axes of the GP.

EFFECT: high accuracy of the navigation system.
