FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: method involves establishing a first-type first connection between a first terminal and a second terminal using a first-type address of the second terminal; determining, during the established first connection, that by using first- and second-type parallel connections as a single logic communication mechanism between the first terminal and the second terminal an extended service must be provided, wherein the method additionally involves receiving from the second terminal a second-type address of the second terminal via packet switched user-to-user signalling, the first-type address being different from the second-type address, and establishing, during the established first connection, a second-type second connection between the first terminal and the second terminal using the second-type address of the second terminal.
EFFECT: increased flexibility of distributing connections.
