FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of natural waters and effluents and may be used for cleaning them of whatever impurities for water supply purposes. Proposed plat comprises electric coagulator with electrode system, contact filter, initial water feed pipeline, filtered water discharge pipeline, and rinsing water feed pipeline. Said electrode system is made from aluminium plates and built in contact filter case top section. Said filter consists of two layer bed. Top layer of said bed represents "ОДМ-2Ф"-type modified flasks crushed to grain size of 2.3-3.5 mm. Layer height makes 600-700 mm. Bottom layer represents quartz sand with grain size of 0.7-1.5 mm and height of 600-700 mm. Note here that coagulator is connected with power supply composed of photoelectric module built around no-break power unit, system of storage batteries, charge controller and solar battery. Note also that electric coagulator is connected to photoelectric module with the help of electric board feeding 20 V and 0.7-1.5 mV/cm² to coagulator electrodes.
