FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: glued laminated beam comprises wooden plates and woven nets in quantity equal to quantity of supports in a glued laminated beam. Woven nets are laid in glued layers, from the lower face of the lower wooden plate, serially embracing all wooden plates bottom-up, and the remaining part of woven nets is wrapped around the glued laminated beam. Woven nets are glued between wooden plates by a width equal to 1/4-1/5 from the total length of the glued laminated beam, at the same time the total length of the glued laminated beam is calculated in accordance with the following formula: L=2h+2b+nb, where h - height of glued laminated beam section, b - width of section of glued laminated beam, n - quantity of glued layers along height of glued laminated beam section.
EFFECT: increased chipping strength of a beam and higher durability of a beam due to corrosion protection of support sections.
