FIELD: building, particularly composite wooden-and-metal beams including metal cores and wooden covering members tightened together with rivet connectors.
SUBSTANCE: beam comprises double-T core formed of angle bars manufactured by cold shaping method and of central plate. Beam also includes timber covering members congruentially enclosing the core by milled mounting surfaces and slots. The covering members are connected with each other by means of at least two rows of rivets. Each covering member is made of laminated glued wood. Angle bar and central plate thicknesses are in ratio of 2:1. Mounting slot width is 1.1-1.6 angle bar thicknesses. Beam height to width ratio is 3.33-3.5. Each T-bar seating slot and seating orifices are formed outside glued seams.
EFFECT: increased load-bearing capacity of beam members.
