FIELD: oil and gas production.

SUBSTANCE: drive mechanism is used to suspend and lineup the pickup above broken pipe end extending from soil. Said pickup comprises hollow case with hollow threaded shank on top end, hollow working tip on bottom end, and ring to tightly grip broken pipe end over its OD and to be locked on broken pipe top end. Then, said drive is used to fit hollow working tip into broken pipe top end body to arrange aforesaid pickup on said pipe end. Threaded shank is used to add string length. Hollow working tip is joined with broken pipe end over its ID or OD by thread joint. Working tip inner space is, first, tightly jointed with added string inner space. Prior to fitting working tip into broken pipe end body, top end of added string is tightly jointed via swivel selector with oil or gas discharge pipe communicated said swivel selector with oil or gas reservoir or tanker.
