SUBSTANCE: lighting device to illuminate a remote object comprises a cavity (36), having a reflecting main surface (38) and reflecting side walls (40), and multiple light-emitting diodes (10), attached in the cavity (36), and also a flat reflecting surface (42) of a light output, opposite to the reflecting main surface (38), comprising multiple light-emitting holes (44). At the same time there are more holes (44), than LEDs (10), and holes (44) make at least 10% of the total area of the upper surface of the cavity (36). Light emitted by the lighting device near substantially each hole (44), has a controlled angle of dispersion, approximately from 45 to 90 degrees, as measured by the angle, in which light brightness makes half of maximum brightness within the angle. The cavity has depth of less than 5 cm. Light emitted by the lighting device provides for substantially even lighting of a flat object located at a certain distance from the flat reflecting surface of the light output of the lighting device.
EFFECT: improved evenness of lighting.
