SUBSTANCE: optical scanning device has a light source; a divergent light beam converting element; an optical deflector which deflects light from the divergent light beam converting element towards a first scanning direction and a second scanning direction which is orthogonal to the first scanning direction; a deviation angle converting element, having a negative power so as to convert the deviation angle of light deflected by the optical deflector; and an optical path merging element placed between the divergent light beam converting element and the deviation angle converting element. The light source is a first laser, a second laser and a third laser, having different wavelengths. The optical path merging element is a first optical path merging element, having a surface for reflecting light from the first laser and a second optical path merging element, having a surface for reflecting light from the second laser.
EFFECT: reduced aberration.
