SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agricultural engineering, in particular to separating devices of tuberous root harvesting machines. The separating device of tuberous root harvesting machine comprises a mounted on a frame apron of sieving rod elevator. The device is equipped with elastic elements of limiting the contact of tuberous roots with the frame, made in the form of rods of oval section, which are located along the elevator apron from its sides parallel to the frame and symmetric about its central axis, and they are fixed in cantilever fashion to the rod of the elevator so that the width of the maximum oval section of the rod oval is parallel to the direction of movement of elevator. On the frame in front of the elevator the rigid plates are mounted.

EFFECT: design of the claimed device enables to select the design parameters and materials of elastic components of the device; in addition, this design is universal and can be used on any tuberous root harvesting machines, which enables to reduce the damage of potato.
