Abstract RU 2465022 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely neurology and physiotherapy, and may be used for medical rehabilitation of patients of active working age exposed to prolonged stress with reflex manifestations of spinal osteochondrosis combined with vegetative nervous system dysfunction. That is ensured by the integrated treatment including iodine-bromine baths, manual massage of the cervical spine and the collar zone with using classical technique, therapeutic exercises added with electrical sleep therapy and applications of sulphide-free sapropel mud of Kirek lake. The electrical sleep therapy is enabled by the ES-10-5 apparatus at pulse frequency 5-10 Hz, current intensity to pleasant vibration, procedure length 30-40 minutes, daily within the therapeutic course of 12-15 procedures. The sapropel mud applications are used for the collar zone at temperature 38-40°C for 20 miniutes, every second day alternated with the iodine-bromine baths within the therapeutic course of 8-10 procedures.

EFFECT: method provides effective treatment of said specific contingent due to improving adaptation body potential ensured by providing an evident antistress effect, myorelaxing action promoting pain relief, depression of the sympathetic nervous system tonus and the vegetative responsiveness of the cardiovascular system with improving trophic and energotropic functions of the vegetative nervous system and stimulating antioxidant activity.
