FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: floor covering comprises multiple separate panels laid jointly and having fixing planks on their ends and longitudinal sides, which in the laid position of neighbouring separate panels of the covering are engaged with each other. In the ends there are slots, at the same time slots of two ends that are joined with each other are arranged on a single line and form a fixing channel to receive an end key, which is installed in one of the slots in advance. The end key protrudes from the slot with an end facing the longitudinal side of a separate panel. As the protruding end of the end key moves in the slot, it may partially move from the slot of one panel into the corresponding slot of the neighbouring separate panel. The slot receiving the end key comprises at least one groove, in which the creeping surface is arranged, and where the end key ledge enters with engagement. The end key is corrugated, besides, its corrugated sides face the decorative and lower side of separate panels. Alignment of indents and tops of corrugations must correspond to the direction (V) of end key motion, when the end key moves while pressing the ledge in the groove.

EFFECT: minimised displacement of floor covering by height on a section of ends under load.
