FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: floor covering consists of many separate panels laid so that they are connected to each other. On end and longitudinal sides of panels there are fixing planks which, in erection position of neighbouring separate panels, are engaged with each other. In end sides there provided are slots; at that, those slots of two end sides being adjoined to each other correspond to each other and form the fixing channel for introduction of edge key. The latter protrudes above the slot end facing the longitudinal side of separate panel, and owing to movement of the outward protruding end of edge key to the slot it passes partially from slot to corresponding slot of adjacent separate panel.
EFFECT: reducing labour input when laying the covering.
